We are looking for dog-loving, hard-working individuals who are interested in working for a growing company.
South Shore Best of the Best winner 2019, 2020, finalist 2021 We are seeking day care attendants to oversee the dogs in our care.
This is a fun job, but it is also VERY challenging! Dogs constantly bark, whine, jump, shed, slobber, poop, pee, vomit and make messes you never thought possible.
Our daycare handlers are able to lift 50lbs, bend over repeatedly, have a strong stomach and remain active for up to a 6 hour shift.
We are also 'glorified janitors'.
Handlers must be comfortable working with multiple dogs at once and have the initiative to manage them and engage with them continuously.
Patience is a necessity, as is the ability to communicate effectively with both your canine charges and human coworkers.
Reliability and integrity from each and every member of our staff is absolutely non-negotiable.
We work as a team and every member is given respect and expected the same of in return.
Weekend and/or holiday availability is a requirement of this job as needed.
We also have several events throughout the summer that all team members must attend.
