ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Work from blueprints, work orders and written and verbal instructions.
Review work order and obtain pre-picked parts in holding area or obtain un-picked parts from the stockroom.
Inspect parts for correctness.
Assemble parts, using a variety of hand tools including soldering iron.
Test unit for functionality and replace incorrect or inoperative parts.
Inspect unit for cosmetic purposes.
Calibrate finished instruments against correct master instrument.
Prepare instrument card and label.
Perform rework operations on units as may be needed.
Look for ways to implement the continuous improvement program.
When required, sub-assemble parts and work on accessories.
Prepare and maintain records and reports as required.
Maintain established quality standards.
Ensure the work area and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly condition, that prescribed safety measures are followed, and established company policies and procedures are adhered to.
Assist with repairs when needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned or as required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND
Experience:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required 0 to 2 years of experience Prior experience in an assembly role, especially where precision and quality control are emphasized.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND
Experience:
